Privacy notice

Hadley Mail Automation is operated by its owner for private use. This notice describes the utility’s Google data access and handling.

Access and use

The personal Gmail grant permits reading mail and managing basic settings. The Workspace grant permits reading and modifying mail, and technically also allows sending. The utility uses these grants only to verify account identity, inspect message metadata and forwarding settings, manage its own forwarding filter, update its two workflow labels, and move successfully processed request messages to Workspace Trash after verifying their source copies remain outside Spam and Trash. It does not request message bodies or attachments.

Storage and sharing

OAuth credentials are stored in a private Google Cloud project’s Secret Manager. The owner also retains protected setup credentials locally and in their password manager. Private Cloud Storage holds sender exclusions, message identifiers, filter snapshots, transaction records and validation evidence. Operational logs contain aggregate results and error categories. Google Cloud processes and stores this information to run the utility. Data is not sold, used for advertising, or shared with unrelated recipients.

Control and retention

The owner can revoke the app’s access in Google Account settings or pause its schedule. Pausing or revoking access stops maintenance; a forwarding rule already saved in Gmail continues until separately changed. Source mail remains under the owner’s control. Processed Workspace copies follow Gmail’s normal Trash retention; the utility does not empty Trash or permanently delete messages. The active exclusion list and recovery records are retained while needed to operate and recover the utility; there is currently no automatic deletion deadline for all records. Google API data

Use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Mail data is not used to train generalized AI or machine-learning models. The scheduled worker uses deterministic code, not a language model.
